Animal prints are not exactly new to sneakers, but adidas Originals is leaning into the look with one of its boldest women’s packs of the year.
Expected to arrive in August 2026, the upcoming adidas Originals “Cow Print” Pack brings black-and-white spotted pony-hair-style uppers to three lifestyle silhouettes: the adidas Japan, adidas Superstar, and adidas Taekwondo. Each pair takes a slightly different route, but the overall theme is loud, playful, and very easy to understand.
The adidas Japan keeps things closest to the track-inspired lane, pairing the all-over cow-print upper with cream Three Stripes, a black tongue, a black liner, and a black outsole. Light blue laces add a soft contrast, giving the pair a slightly offbeat finish without pulling attention away from the main pattern.
The Superstar takes the most familiar shape of the trio and gives it a textured overhaul. Its cow-print upper is matched with cream Three Stripes and a matching midsole, while the black toe and burgundy laces add a nice break from the neutral base. It is still instantly recognizable as a Superstar, just with far more personality.
The adidas Taekwondo may be the cleanest execution of the pack. Its slim, laceless build allows the cow print to sit almost uninterrupted across the upper, with cream Three Stripes and a black sole unit keeping the palette sharp. Given the model’s recent momentum, this could easily end up as the standout of the three.
The women’s-exclusive adidas Originals “Cow Print” Pack is expected to release in August 2026 via adidas and select retailers.
