adidas is set to honor Charlotte, North Carolina, with a special-edition Superstar II dubbed “Queen City,” drawing on the city’s royal nickname through a series of themed details. The release gives the classic silhouette a regional identity, pairing a predominantly black build with bold red accents and gold branding.

Crown-inspired details take center stage throughout the design, with embossed graphics and royal motifs adding character to the black upper. The sockliner takes inspiration from a red carpet, further reinforcing the regal theme, while gold adidas branding appears on the heel and lateral sides, offering a premium contrast against the darker base.

The design continues underfoot with a special insole featuring a black-and-gold crown logo alongside “Queen City” and “Charlotte,” directly tying the pair to its hometown. These details give the familiar Superstar II a distinct identity while celebrating Charlotte’s local pride.
