After stealing a spotlight moment during Super Bowl weekend, the Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 "Rise" is officially stepping into its own release window. Slated for March 28, the pair continues the rollout of Benito’s first true signature silhouette — a model that signals adidas’ full commitment to him as a hybrid artist-athlete force.
The Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 "Rise" keeps the sculpted mid/high-cut profile that first surfaced in the “BOKeTE” visual and later appeared throughout his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS album cycle. Unlike his earlier Forum and Response collaborations, this design moves away from traditional Three Stripes placement. Instead, a winged midfoot support system wraps the upper, doubling as both structural lockdown and visual centerpiece.
The “Rise” colorway leans into contrast. Creamy suede overlays frame black underlays through angular cutouts along the midfoot, while rope-style laces add a rugged touch. Subtle blue hits appear on the tongue and heel branding, injecting a quiet pop against the neutral base. A gum outsole grounds the pair, reinforcing its lifestyle-meets-performance direction.

Design language nods to archival adidas Basketball and EQT-era tooling, but the execution feels forward-looking rather than nostalgic. It’s less about retro storytelling and more about establishing identity — something adidas has been steadily building since revealing Benito’s standalone logo earlier this year
With cleated versions expected to follow in 2026, the BadBo platform is clearly expanding beyond lifestyle territory. For now, the Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 "Rise" will land on March 28, with retail expected at $160 via badbunnyadidas.com and select partners.
