Brain Dead Reworks the adidas Five Ten NIAD and Guide Tennie
Brain Dead is heading outdoors with adidas Five Ten, reworking two of the brand’s climbing-focused silhouettes for a limited release on November 6.
The collaboration centers on the Five Ten NIAD and Guide Tennie, pairing Brain Dead’s visual language with footwear built for technical movement and everyday wear.
The NIAD is the more climbing-focused of the two, built on the Anasazi last with a slip-on construction for quick on-and-off wear. A premium leather and textile upper sits above a soft sockliner and Five Ten’s STEALTH rubber outsole, designed to provide grip across climbing surfaces and indoor sessions.
The Guide Tennie takes a more versatile approach, blending hiking, climbing and casual wear into a lace-up silhouette. It also uses a premium leather and textile build with a soft sockliner and STEALTH rubber underfoot.
Both pairs are designed to move between outdoor use and everyday settings, giving Brain Dead’s latest adidas project a more technical direction than a standard lifestyle collaboration.
The Brain Dead x adidas Five Ten NIAD and Guide Tennie release in limited quantities on November 6 for $180 each through adidas, select retailers and Brain Dead.
