Disney & Pixar have a longstanding relationship with adidas. Over the years, the three-way collaboration has brought some of the world's most-beloved animated characters to clothes, footwear, and accessories-form.
Ahead of the premiere of Toy Story 5, the experts in playful product have unveiled another chapter in their ongoing partnership: adidas Sambas inspired by the film's Jessie and Woody.
Set to be central to the fifth movie in the Toy Story saga, Jessie and Woody have amassed a healthy number of designs throughout the year—both in-house and collaborative. Their latest adidas sneakers opt for a popular canvas, but feature ornate makeovers fit for a cowgirl and cowboy. Jessie's Samba Jane recreates the character's iconic white-and-black spotted chaps, including the detail across the "T" toe. Denim accents take over the profile 3-Stripes, while Westernwear-inpired stitch lines appear on the velcro strap atop the Mary Jane-like shoe and on the heel panel.

Woody's adidas Samba also brings cowboy attire to the heritage football shoe.
A denim-like material takes over the bulk of the upper, allowing a yellowish-brown suede to claim the forefoot overlay. Profile 3-Stripes and inner lining feature a yellow-and-red grid pattern directly referencing Woody's shirt. His red handkerchief inspires a panel on the spine, while his bull belt buckle finds its way onto the adidas Originals sneaker in the form of a lace dubrae.
The Buzz Lightyear adidas Adistar Control 5 pulls directly from the Space Ranger’s iconic suit, pairing white mesh uppers with neon green, purple, blue, and red accents throughout. Metallic silver overlays and “LIGHTYEAR” tongue branding continue the character-inspired design, while the kids-exclusive version adds a light-up heel feature activated by a button at the rear.
