Pharrell Williams and his adidas family continue to deliver imaginative product for sport and everyday life.
Following the success of the chunky Adistar Jellyfish and the eyebrows raised by the $1,000 Adizero EVOlution Pro, the Virginia-native and German sportswear juggernaut have announced another Evo SL capsule.
Inspired by the dust of Mars, the capsule sees a "Preloved Brown/Core Black/Craft Chili" color scheme that pays tribute to the extraterrestrial planet. Presentations across all three product offerings—running shoe, track jacket, and running shorts—are straight-forward, especially when compared with other Humanrace proposals. Williams and company aim to remind athletes of all levels that running is more than just a measure of distance; runners should instead view the activity as a practice of wellness, mindfulness, and renewal. Every stride taken while wearing the "Mars" collection, then, is a celebration of the self and the cosmos.
Enjoy official photos of the Humanrace running capsule ahead. Items launch via adidas.com on Saturday, March 21. The Adizero Evo SL is priced at $160.
