Did Pharrell Just Preview the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish V2?

It's safe to say that the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish silhouette has been successfully longtime collaborators Pharrell Williams and adidas. And while the chunky sneaker doesn't seem ready to fall into oblivion just yet, it does appear that "Skateboard P" is currently wear-testing what could be the V2 (Version 2) of the popular shoe.

Recently, Pharrell attended the Dior Summer 2027 Women's Show in Paris, showing support to Jonathan Anderson. Paparazzi shots and behind-the-scenes media from the event captured the Louis Vuitton Men's Creative Director wearing an unreleased pair of adidas sneakers. The grey-and-neon-green style features a number of protruding, sculpted pieces and overall robust proportions that beg the question, "Is this the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish V2?"

Recent memory has seen the partnership between Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals favor introducing new silhouettes to market instead of providing sequels to or spin-offs from a lone franchise, but the 2010s saw the collaboration deliver different takes on the NMD Hu (Human Race).

Speculation that the newly-surfaced shoe is indeed a follow-up to the original Adistar Jellyfish is just that—speculation—but similarities between both styles are too alike to believe they are standalone franchises.
