Pharrell & adidas Present the VIRGINIA Vario Flat Earther Shoe

Pharrell Williams and his VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish have enjoyed much acclaim since the project came to life with the help of adidas Originals. And while the chunky silhouette is just getting started with a more consistent drop cycle, the storied partnership is readying another footwear design for those who prefer a slimmer package.

Enter: The VIRGINIA Vario Flat Earther.

Far from the type of technology found on the Adistar Cushion 3-reminiscent model, the newly-surfaced offering is a thin-soled option from the mind of Williams and the Three Stripes. Design inspiration behind the Flat Earther hasn't been revealed by either party involved, but the shoe resembles some of the brand's low-profile cycling shoes. A velcro-assisted overlay appears on the forefoot—complete with contrasting 3-Stripes branding. The outsole sees minimal tread that enables enhanced ground feel for wearers.

Thenew VIRGINIA shoe will release via adidas.com on April 4.
