Willy Chavarria’s adidas Originals partnership continues moving further away from the terrace classics that initially defined the collaboration.

After building momentum through retro silhouettes like the Jabbar and Superstar, Chavarria is once again leaning into the future with the adidas Megaride AG — this time arriving in a soft “Clear Pink” finish for Summer 2026.

The silhouette itself already stands apart within adidas’ current lineup. Rooted in the brand’s early-2000s Megaride technology, the sneaker’s defining feature remains its oversized hollow TPU midsole tunnels, giving the pair a sculptural look that feels closer to concept footwear than traditional lifestyle sneakers.

That experimental shape becomes even more pronounced here, presented in full pink.

Despite some early listings referring to the pair as “Powder Red,” the sneaker’s dominant shade is officially “Clear Pink,” covering nearly every surface from the mesh base layers to the molded TPU overlays and exaggerated tooling below. broader “Powder Red” accents appear subtly throughout, most notably on the oversized co-branded hangtags attached to the lacing system and the bold “Chavarria” tongue branding.

Materially, the pair balances lightweight mesh with suede paneling and glossy synthetic overlays, helping break up the otherwise monochromatic execution. The tonal treatment also taps into Chavarria’s recurring use of rose-inspired palettes and romantic color language seen throughout his wider apparel collections.

More importantly, the release continues establishing the Megaride AG as a serious pillar within the partnership moving forward. While many designer collaborations continue revisiting archival staples, Chavarria and adidas appear increasingly focused on building out newer, more aggressive silhouettes that sit outside the brand’s usual comfort zone.

The result feels intentionally loud, but still surprisingly wearable thanks to the softer pastel finish.

Expect the Willy Chavarria x adidas Megaride AG “Clear Pink” to release in Summer 2026 via adidas.com and select retailers for $200.

In other high-level collab news, Travis Scott's Nike Football boots are expected to arrive this summer.
