adidas and Y-3 are bringing a much wilder look to the football field this week, with four Y-3 Adizero Electric II cleats set to release on September 4 at 12 AM ET for $230 each.

The collection takes the speed-focused Adizero Electric II and turns it into a four-part “Beast” pack, with each pair built around a different creature. The lineup includes “The Wolf” in grey, “The Tiger” in yellow, “The Dragon” in blue, and “The Eagle” in red.

Rather than simply applying animal-print accents, each cleat essentially turns the entire upper into a canvas. Large monstrous illustrations wrap across the toe and sidewalls, giving every pair its own identity while black laces and collars keep some consistency across the collection.

Y-3 branding appears throughout, including metallic Y-3 lettering near the tongue, while Yohji Yamamoto’s signature is worked into the lateral heel area. The graphic-heavy uppers sit atop the Adizero Electric II’s lightweight football tooling, keeping the collection rooted in performance despite the more expressive presentation.

The four designs also continue Y-3’s long-running interest in combining sport with art and fashion. Here, that approach moves directly onto the gridiron, with wolves, tigers, dragons, and eagles replacing the cleaner finishes usually associated with speed cleats.

All four Y-3 x adidas Adizero Electric II “Beast” cleats are set to release September 4 at midnight ET, with retail set at $230 per pair and drop via adidas.com and DICK's Sporting Goods.
