Kyrie Irving's ANTA KAI 3 "432Hz" Is Inspired By the Healing Power of Sound

Kyrie Irving has decided to sit out on the entirety of the 2025-26 NBA season to recover from a torn ACL suffered in March of last year. Although the decision means fans will have to wait yet again to see the "artist on court" work his magic for the Dallas Mavericks, it's also allowing Irving to tell an important story through his ANTA KAI 3.

Recently, the widely-successful partnership has unveiled the third signature model in a 432Hz" makeover. According to campaign material and messaging, the predominantly two-tone ensemble draws inspiration from "the healing power of sound."

Always one to promote the importance of tapping in with the self as well as nature, one's ancestors, and a higher power, Irving uses his popular basketball sneaker to stress the importance of taking time to heal properly—in the physical sense and otherwise.

The “432Hz” KAI 3—which gets its nickname from the frequency often associated with balance, harmony, and calming energy—features a purple-and-pink color scheme. A gradient finish splits both tones, relegating the former to the forefoot. Golden accents run across the profiles, adding an elegant touch to the meaningful product.

These colors are not arbitrary: violet is the highest frequency on the visible spectrum while pink represents physical restoration and heightened mental acuity. Lastly, metallic gold represents tuning forks used to invigorate the body.
