Kith's Marvel vs. Capcom ASICS Sneaker Collection Releases Nov. 14

Kith-frontman Ronnie Fieg recently took to social media to tease what he's already considering "one of the best best projects to release [in 2025]": an ASICS collaboration inspired by and with Marvel vs. Capcom.

In true Kith fashion, a healthy mix of apparel and accessories will drop alongside retro running styles from the Japanese brand's archive—including projects developed with the help of Modernica, Hasbro, and Jada Toys. Netizens quickly took to the platform formerly known as Twitter to share one of the components of the video game-informed effort: an $895 made-to-order Arcade1Up Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Arcade co-branded with Kith logos. The machine's steep price tag, physical presence, and limited availability will surely push most folks towards the collection of ASICS sneakers, which include a a half-dozen styles.

Having previously worked on other footwear capsules inspired by Marvel heroes and villains, the impending project isn't anything new to Fieg and team. Models like the GEL-NIMBUS® 10.1 and GEL-KAYANO® 12.1 take on color schemes and feature graphics inspired by Iron Man, Guile, and other iconic playable characters in the vs. title. The six pairs are split into two blind double-box sets and two single-box options, according to Kith. Iron Man and Mega Man colorways share a double-box set of the aforementioned GEL-NIMBUS®, with the other offering including Captain America and Guile-inspired GEL-KAYANO® takes. These double-box sets arrive with an exclusive and original Marvel vs. Capcom comic book from Kith, as well as with one of seven different metallic monogram colors ranging in rarity—including the possibility to receive them in PSA-graded slabs.

Single-box pairs of the collection utilize the GEL-KAYANO™ 14as their canvas. Ryu and Wolverine-inspired styles will be offered without any Kith-backed comic book or other goodies.

Other products prepped as part of the expansive range include: skate decks, tri-branded posters, area rugs, graphic t-shirts to match the ASICS shoes, mouse pads, and other novelty collector's items.
