Polo Ralph Lauren continues to be a hot topic across the internet. Fresh off being discussed on X by residents of New York City and Washington, D.C., the North American brand is now part of a newly-announced capsule by Japan's BEAMS.
The collection, which features apparel, footwear, and accessories, celebrates the Asian institution's 50th anniversary. Earlier in the year, both imprints came together for the long-awaited reissue of the "Japanorak," a jacket from 2010 that inspired Saucony sneakers by Just Blaze and Packer Shoes. Now, the duo is back with more, easily-accessible items for savvy and casual consumers.
The 50th Anniversary Capsule by BEAMS and Polo Ralph Lauren includes new takes on beloved designs like the Bayport Windbreaker, Prepster Short, and Rugby Shirt. Each item is done in versatile color finishes and feature special tags to commemorate the occasion. A long-sleeve V-Neck Varsity Cardigan and Keaton Slip On join the collaborative archive between BEAMS and Polo, delivering more prep-inspired styles.
All items will be available starting on Saturday, April 18, via select BEAMS and BEAMS BOY stores. An online release will also take place.
