The Converse SHAI 001 LUX: Truffle arrives during NBA All-Star 2026 as the most luxurious version of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature shoe to date.
Developed through Converse Basketball with direct input from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the SHAI 001 LUX reflects the same pace and restraint that define Shai’s game. Nothing here is loud. The focus is on material, proportion, and finish—details that reward a closer look rather than demand attention.
The LUX: Truffle build introduces a molded nubuck upper with a rich, natural grain that wraps cleanly through the silhouette and around the TPU heel clip. The execution feels cohesive and deliberate, with subtle touches like a debossed Shai logo on the tongue and a gold-foil sockliner adding depth without excess. Every element feels chosen rather than added.
Color plays a central role in setting the tone. The deep brown Truffle finish takes cues from luxury leather goods and artisanal chocolate, offering warmth and dimension that shifts with light. It’s a shade that emphasizes texture and craftsmanship, reinforcing the shoe’s premium direction without relying on contrast or bold branding.
Underneath the elevated exterior, the SHAI 001’s performance foundation remains intact. Radial traction supports multidirectional movement, Zoom Air in the forefoot delivers responsive energy return, and the over-lasted midsole keeps the ride low and stable. It’s built to move the way Shai does—controlled, efficient, and always composed.
Dropping for NBA All-Star 2026, the Converse SHAI 001 LUX: Truffle ($170) will release in limited quantities on Feb. 14 at Undefeated La Brea and The Shai Lounge, followed by the Foot Locker Takeover at L.A. Live on Feb. 15, with a limited global release set for Feb. 26. The Converse SHAI 001 LUX: Truffle closes out All-Star Weekend as the line’s most luxurious statement yet.
Alongside the Converse SHAI 001 LUX: Truffle, the, Charm Black, Masi Blue, Hail Clay, and Ares Gray will also restock at The Foot Locker Takeover at L.A. Live throughout the weekend.
