The Minions are heading back to the big screen this summer, and Converse is getting in on the chaos with a full collection of footwear, apparel, and customizable pairs.

Timed around the arrival of Illumination’s Minions & Monsters, the Converse x Minions collection brings the franchise’s playful energy to a range of Chuck Taylor styles, graphic apparel, and Converse By You options. It is a familiar canvas for Converse, but the execution leans fully into the character world through denim finishes, bold yellow hits, playful graphics, and small character-led details.

The Chuck 70 leads the footwear side with a premium denim upper, contrast stitching, co-branded details, and an outside ankle pocket. The Chuck Taylor All Star takes a more direct approach, using Minions artwork across the upper with yellow outsoles, mismatched graphic hits, and character-inspired accents. Kids are also covered through the Chuck Taylor All Star Easy-On, which adds an adjustable Minions-style eye strap for a more functional, playful finish.

The apparel range keeps things simple, with two T-shirts and a hoodie carrying graphic treatments tied to the new film and its characters. Converse By You also joins the project, giving fans the option to customize select silhouettes with Minions-inspired colors, prints, laces, and accents.

With Minions & Monsters opening July 1, the Converse x Minions collection gives the franchise another footwear crossover, this time built around Converse’s most recognizable silhouettes. The full collection launches globally on June 25 via Converse.com and select retailers.

This marks another chapter in Converse’s growing anime portfolio, though it’s important to clarify that Converse Japan operates independently from the Nike-owned Converse division in the United States. As such, the Naruto Shippuden collection is currently limited to the Japanese market, with no confirmation of a wider global launch.

The Converse Japan x Naruto Shippuden collection is scheduled to release on February 20 via Converse Japan and select retailers, including legends of the region, atmos.

Fans outside Japan may need to rely on secondary channels to secure a pair.

In other Converse news, SGA's pink SHAI 001 is expected to release soon.
