Dr. Martens’ Latest Collab Is Powered by The Powerpuff Girls

Dr. Martens is heading to Townsville for its latest collaboration, teaming up with The Powerpuff Girls on a footwear collection inspired by the animated series’ heroes and villains.

The project reworks several of Dr. Martens’ Buzz silhouettes through the colorful world of the franchise. One pair arrives almost entirely in pink with white laces and small neon accents, while another takes a much darker approach with black uppers, purple stitching and bright green piping.

A tall red boot also joins the range, dressed in a glossy finish with contrasting yellow piping and oversized proportions that fit naturally with the exaggerated look of the cartoon.

Rather than simply placing character graphics across existing footwear, the collection uses The Powerpuff Girls’ recognizable palette and personalities to shape each design, pulling inspiration from both the show’s heroines and its villains.

The Dr. Martens x The Powerpuff Girls collection is scheduled to release on August 27 via Drmartens.com.
