James Whitner and his The Whitaker Group imprint are expected to help Jordan Brand introduce the Air Jordan 10 Low during Summer 2027.

According to the duo of X user @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the collaboration will usher in a series of low-top Air Jordan 10s throughout the original model’s 33rd and 34th anniversaries. An official color description hasn’t been provided as of this writing, but the retro offering is expected to feature shades of brown, orange, and teal.

Michael Jordan’s eponymous label hasn’t commented on the release rumor, but the report falls in line with other Air Jordan projects from the last handful of years. Given that the Air Jordan 10 has historically been a tougher sell than other early pairs from MJ’s signature sneaker catalog, a low-top update could energize the silhouette in a similar way that the Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 11 Low have their respective models. Outside the Jordan Brand catalog, the Air Max Goadome Low and Air More Uptempo Low have delivered easier-to-wear versions of their taller OGs.

It’s still too early to tell whether or not an Air Jordan 10 Low will prove successful for Team Jumpman, but The Whitaker Group’s co-sign could be just the move to help the reworked design hit the ground running—especially if the collaboration leans on premium materials, elevated storytelling, and a mature aesthetic that further cements the basketball shoe within the lifestyle space.
