Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam Galaxy” Celebrates Film's 30th Anniversary
The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” is already one of the most important sneakers in Jordan Brand history, but for Holiday 2026, the story is expected to stretch even further into orbit.
Arriving as part of the 30th-anniversary celebration of Space Jam, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam Galaxy” is expected to release alongside the returning Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam,” offering a much louder, more graphic take on the film’s long-running connection to Michael Jordan’s eleventh signature shoe.
Updated visuals of the expected colorway show the pair moving away from the traditional black patent leather setup in favor of a bright white upper and a full galaxy-inspired mudguard. The patent section appears dressed in a blue, green, and yellow cosmic gradient, giving the shoe its defining “Galaxy” identity while still keeping the Air Jordan 11’s familiar shape intact.
The pair is also expected to feature translucent blue outsoles, black lining, and a gradient Jumpman at the collar. One of the greatest details, though, is the expected “Jumpman Jam” branding on the tongue, a playful nod to the Space Jam universe and a feature that helps set this release apart from a standard Air Jordan 11 colorway.
While Jordan Brand has yet to officially unveil the pair, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam Galaxy” is currently expected to release on December 12, 2026. Early reports suggest it may arrive in more limited numbers than the mainline “Space Jam” retro.
