Air Jordan 3 OG “White Cement” Returns in 2027
Jordan Brand is expected to bring back the Air Jordan 3 OG "White Cement" in Spring 2027, continuing the cycle of one of its most important original colorways.
First released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 introduced several key elements to the line, including visible Air cushioning, elephant print overlays, and Nike Air branding on the heel. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the model is closely tied to Michael Jordan’s performance in the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, where he wore the silhouette during his free throw line dunk.

The "White Cement" colorway remains the most recognizable version of the model. It features a white leather upper with grey and black elephant print at the toe and heel, alongside black and Fire Red accents. Nike Air branding at the heel has historically been reserved for OG-style retros and remains a key detail for accuracy.
The shoe last returned in 2018 in a form widely considered true to the original. In 2023, Jordan Brand released a “Reimagined” version that introduced aged detailing, offering a different presentation rather than a direct recreation.
For 2027, early expectations point toward a more faithful approach. The Air Jordan 3 OG "White Cement" is expected to stay true to the original design, including Nike Air branding, with a focus on OG shape and construction rather than reinterpretation. Full specifications have not yet been confirmed.
The Air Jordan 3 OG "White Cement" is expected to release in Spring 2027 via Nike and select retailers.
