Phoenix Suns Style Lands on the Air Jordan 5 for 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend
Jordan Brand is expected to release an Air Jordan 5 in Phoenix Suns colors in time for the 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend, which takes place in the capital of Arizona.
According to the duo of Sneaker Files and X user @zSneakerHeadz, the white, orange, and purple-colored retro forms part of Jordan Brand's Spring 2027 Collection. The sneaker, however, is likely to release sometime in February, as ASW is scheduled to take place from Friday, Feb. 19, to Sunday, Feb. 21.
The choice of the Air Jordan 5 might seem random, but the silhouette holds some connection to the Suns franchise. As an extended family member of Jordan Brand, team legend Shawn Marion has laced up personalized pairs of the fifth Air Jordan. His gifts from Michael Jordan's imprint have come in predominantly black or white pairs and with his "31" jersey number stitched onto the lateral heel. The rumored pair is expected to take after the mostly-white edition.
