Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 7 has never been the busiest retro in the lineup, but that makes its bigger swings feel a little more interesting when they land. The upcoming Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” is one of those releases, pulling 1990s tennis energy into one of Michael Jordan’s most important championship-era models.

First looks at the pair reveal a mostly light grey build, with mesh paneling, smooth leather overlays, and hairy suede across the toe and ankle panels. Black laces, tongue detailing, and Jumpman branding add contrast up top, while neon green and hot pink hits give the shoe its clearest link to the loud court style made famous by Andre Agassi and the Air Tech Challenge era.

That crossover makes sense within Nike history. Agassi disrupted tennis much the same way Jordan did basketball, using personality, color, and attitude to push against the look of their respective sports. On the Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day,” that spirit comes through without turning the shoe into a full costume piece.

The color pops are strongest underfoot, where bright green and pink sit across the AJ7’s angular midsole sections. A pink heel pull, green lining, speckled detailing, and tennis-inspired tongue graphics round out the pair, giving the design enough storytelling without overloading it.

The Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” is currently expected to release on September 9, 2026, aligning closely with the US Open window. Stay tuned for further updates as official Jordan Brand release details surface..
