With the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chicago” confirmed for release this summer, it’s now been revealed that its iconic counterpart—the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Banned”—will follow in Summer 2026.

The upcoming release will officially carry the “Banned” moniker and feature standout heel detailing with red X marks, just like the memorable 2011 Air Jordan 1 High “Banned.” This special edition will also come packaged in unique boxing, further emphasizing its nod to one of the most legendary sneaker stories in Jordan Brand history.

The last time the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Bred” hit shelves was back in 2015, making this return a welcome one for longtime collectors and newer fans alike. It's a familiar blend of black and varsity red leather, classic Nike Air tongue branding, and OG cut will ensure the pair stays true to form.

Pairs will be available via early access on April 29 at 9 AM ET via JD Sports US' Status Access program.
