The Jordan Spizike Low Is Now Available in Brick-Like "Canyon Rust"

Although the Jordan Spizike Low is a newer proposal from His Airness' eponymous brand, it's rooted in Air Jordan heritage.

Since the original mid-top's debut in 2006, Spike Lee's hybrid silhouette has delivered a healthy mix of all-new styles and homages to the most successful athlete-specific signature sneaker line of all time. The Spizike, then, has helped expand Michael Jordan's legacy well-after the legendary basketball player retired from the NBA. Ahead of summer, Lee's latest design has taken on a "Canyon Rust/Dark Pony" color scheme fairly reminiscent of Nigel Sylvester's recent Air Jordan 4 "Brick by Brick" collaboration.

Akin to the mainline project, the newly-launched Spizike Low features a brick-like red across its mish-mash upper and sole unit. Elephant print from the beloved Air Jordan 3 comes together with elements from the Air Jordan series' fourth, fifth, and sixth models—all created by Tinker Hatfield. Each component on the hybrid offering is engulfed in one of the aforementioned colors, coming together to create a rather tonal, versatile look for those looking for a similar sneaker to Sylvester's collaboration without breaking the bank.
