Jordan Brand continues to outfit its sponsored college athletics programs in special gear. Recently, Marquette University's Women's Basketball Team shared photos of a special Air Jordan 40 and Jordan Luka 4 it received in time for its new season.
As with other gifts from Michael Jordan's eponymous imprint, the latest treats take on the Wisconsin-based institution's blue-and-gold color scheme. The modern Air Jordan silhouette favors a clean white base, allowing for a rich shade of blue to animate tongue and collar areas, as well as inner lining. By comparison, Luka Dončić's current signature model sees a darker aesthetic. Vibrant yellow, however, lands on MU logos and other elements across the low-profile hoops sneaker.
Enjoy images of the Golden Eagles' latest care package from Team Jumpman ahead. No Nike.com/Jordan will take place for the footwear, although some styles could eventually mimic similar color-blockings.
