Detailed looks at the University of North Carolina’s 2026 Air Jordan 12 player exclusive have surfaced, showcasing a denim-heavy design created for the Tar Heels’ basketball program. The pair was delivered to the team earlier this month ahead of the 2026-27 college basketball season.
The Air Jordan 12 features a light white/blue denim upper with darker navy denim overlays covering the mudguard. Gold metallic eyelets and contrasting stitching add detail throughout, while UNC branding appears on the tongue and heel. The design is finished with a two-tone midsole, navy outsole, and the number 23 embroidered on the rear.
The latest pair continues Jordan Brand’s longstanding relationship with its alma mater, giving the Tar Heels another exclusive take on one of the brand’s signature silhouettes. The denim construction also marks a different material approach for the Air Jordan 12, which has traditionally appeared in leather-based finishes.
As a player exclusive, the UNC Air Jordan 12 is expected to remain limited to the basketball program, with no public retail release planned.
