Everybody's favorite irreverent art collective, MSCHF, is back with another collaboration that challenges the expected. This time, the Brooklyn-based cohort has traveled all the way to Vicenza, Italy to team up with football club LR Vicenza and its kit manufacturer, hummel, for a capsule collection rooted in sport and built for culture.

Newly promoted to Serie B, LR Vicenza has over 120-years of history in Italian football. In modern times, the club has been backed by OTB Group, the fashion conglomerate behind Diesel, Maison Margiela, and other world-renowned labels. Its creative partnership with MSCHF, which exists at the intersection of art, street style, technology, and internet culture, looks to celebrate the club's proud history while introducing it to a new audience.

"The collaboration between LR Vicenza and MSCHF is one of the most exciting initiatives in our football journey," shared Stefano Rosso, President of LRV. "[W]e believe that today's football must also speak the language of culture, creativity, and global relevance. With this project, LR Vicenza's identity transcends national borders. MSCHF brings a unique ability to challenge convention and expand the cultural footprint of a sporting institution through this new collection that honors its heritage while also embracing the future with courage, imagination, and a truly international perspective."

To this end, MSCHF has put together an on-pitch kit and lifestyle capsule that brings its unique point of view to a football club for the first time.

LR Vicenza's iconic red-and-white striped Home jersey by hummel maintains much of its identity, but it's reimagined with a bombardment of logos and graphics that bring a streetwear element to the heritage design. MSCHF has reworked the Italian club's historic "R" logo with a series of exclamation points, a symbol the New York City-based collective has adopted over the years. hummel's branding appears on both shirt and shorts, reflecting each item's performance capabilities and football heritage.

Off-pitch items consist of a similar design ethos as the special-edition kit. Black-colored bases appear across sweaters, caps, and shirts, as do bold graphic treatments. "Golf Sucks" messaging is prevalent on these lifestyle items, making use of a classic MSCHF line and speaking to widely-agreed upon superiority of calcio (especially as the 2026 World Cup inches closer, though Italy did not qualify).
