Gabby Thomas Gets Her Own New Balance Ellipse Running Shoe Collab

New Balance is tapping Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas for a special-edition of the new Ellipse running shoe.

Designed with comfort in mind, the New Balance Ellipse is a go-to footwear style for NFL quarterback Josh Allen, multi-hyphenate Action Bronson, and now the second-fastest woman ever in the 200 meter dash.

Akin to middle distance runner Parker Valby, Thomas will see a global launch of her own Ellipse collaboration come Wednesday, April 8. The project keeps all of its performance-oriented elements intact—Fresh Foam X cushioning, breathable mesh, reflective details—but indulges in a mix of pink pastel tones. The soft-colored makeover brings Thomas' personal touch to the everyday running shoe, ensuring fashion isn't sacrificed when on the hunt for top-level performance.

An array of apparel items join the project, rounding out the personalized capsule.
