New Balance is only a week removed from introducing Ellipse to market, but it's ready to make the comfort-driven design the running shoe of choice for many through strategic partnerships.
The brand's decision to employ Action Bronson, NFL quarterback Josh Allen, and Olympic gold-winning sprinter Gabby Thomas as part of the sneaker's launch campaign was celebrated by many netizens. Today, the Boston-based stalwart has announced two initiatives that are sure to receive equal praise: collaborations with Barry's studios across the U.S. and Canada, and a special-edition developed by middle distance runner Parker Valby.
As with the New Balance 1080v15 that debuted earlier in the year, Ellipse features a thick slab of soft, responsive foam cushioning. This platform has been co-signed by world-renowned athletes, but it's also being celebrated by amateur exercise enthusiasts across the globe. Thanks to Barry's, interested parties can now test out New Balance's latest performance model before committing to it.

Run x LIFT: Total Body with New Balance Ellipse takes place at over 60 Barry’s studios across North America once per week between Monday, April 6, and Thursday, April 30. There, guests will have the opportunity to try out Ellipse during the class to experience the bounciness of Fresh Foam X cushioning for themselves. The versatile trainer will inspire thematic décor across participating Barry's studios, as well as complimentary post‑workout green Ellipse shake.
Those interested must check with their local Barry's studios to schedule and sign up for a Run x LIFT session through the Barry's app or Barrys.com.
Outside of the Barry's partnership, New Balance has invited Parker Valby to co-sign a special release of Ellipse. Part of her Signature Athlete Collection—similar to capsules for Shohei Ohtani—the limited-edition runner sees a white-and-blue color scheme and commemorative branding on the insole—all while maintaining the shoe's proven performance benefits intact.
Valby's Ellipse releases via NewBalance.com on Thursday, March 19.
