Tyrese Maxey Debuts His New Balance Maxey v1 With 31-Point Performance
New Balance Basketball has officially unveiled the first signature model for Tyrese Maxey. Named the Maxey v1, the silhouette made its debut on the @GQ Instagram account before the Philadelphia 76ers star laced up the shoe against the Orlando Magic. The model dons a clean black-and-light blue colorway.
As shown, the New Balance Maxey v1 features a low-cut build with a streamlined shape, designed for speed and movement. The upper is predominantly black, constructed with mesh and synthetic materials, while blue overlays flow across the sides and wrap into the midsole, creating a fluid, almost sculpted appearance. A prominent “N” logo sits at the midfoot, outlined to stand out against the darker base.
The midsole carries that same two-tone approach, combining black and white in a wavy design that mirrors the upper’s lines. White laces and a light interior lining provide contrast up top, balancing the darker exterior.
Although full details and specifications have yet to be officially announced, one thing is certain: Tyrese Maxey’s New Balance Maxey v1 is set to make waves, pun intended, when it releases in 2026. Tyrese is expected to debut the New Balance Maxey v1 tonight during the 76ers’ play-in game. Stay tuned for updates on the $130 basketball sneaker.
