Nike SB and Olympic gold medalist Yuto Horigome are expanding their partnership beyond the Dunk with a new project: the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Air Force 1 Low “Iron Grey,” expected to release in Fall 2026.
Horigome’s previous collaborations with Nike SB have centered on the Dunk, where his clean, understated approach to design quickly resonated with both skateboarders and collectors. His latest project looks to apply that same restrained aesthetic to another Nike classic — the Air Force 1.

Early looks suggest the pair draws inspiration from the original 1982 Air Force 1 design, a silhouette that has remained one of Nike’s most recognizable models for decades. The upcoming release appears to lean into that heritage with a straightforward palette and familiar materials.
The sneaker features a mix of smooth leather and mesh across the upper, dressed primarily in light grey tones. Darker “Iron Grey” accents land on the Swoosh, lining, and outsole, providing subtle contrast while maintaining the shoe’s muted appearance. A slightly aged midsole adds a vintage touch, reinforcing the connection to the Air Force 1’s early-era styling.
Branding details appear minimal, though Horigome’s signature feather-style logo is placed near the heel, signaling the collaboration while keeping the overall look understated. The result is a design that stays close to the DNA of the original Air Force 1 while introducing subtle SB and athlete-driven touches.
The release also marks another moment in Nike SB’s ongoing expansion of the Air Force 1 within skate culture. While the Dunk has long served as the centerpiece of the SB lineup, recent projects have explored other heritage silhouettes as the brand continues to evolve its roster.
The Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Air Force 1 Low “Iron Grey” is expected to release in Fall 2026. Official release details and retailer information are expected to surface closer to launch.
