As the Nike Air Force 1 inches closer to its 45th anniversary, the "presidential" sneaker continues to amass refreshing makeovers. Come Sunday, Nov. 1, the pair is slated to drop at an array of retailers in an Iron Man-reminiscent color scheme.
Officially, the latest take on Bruce Kilgore's design from the early-1980s is clad in a "Gym Red/Team Red/Burgundy Crush/Bright Ceramic" medley. As if shades of red and yellow weren't eye-catching enough, the '07 version of the Air Force 1 Low features glossy patent leather panels across its upper. The bulk of the top-half indulges in a rich red tone that evokes images of Tony Stark in his super suit, while profile Swooshes and the semi-translucent sole unit opt for a burnt yellow.
The newly-previewed AF-1 releases via Foot Locker and other retailers on Nov. 1; a Nike.com should also take place on or around that date.
