Caitlin Clark added another player-exclusive Kobe to her growing on-court rotation tonight, debuting a new Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Sonic” PE during action.
The pair arrives in an unmistakable royal blue and white color scheme, complete with metallic gold-trimmed Swooshes and subtle red accents at the heel. The color blocking immediately drew comparisons to Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired palettes, though the pair appears to simply lean into vibrant speed-driven tones that fit Clark’s fast-paced style of play.
Like previous Nike Kobe 5 Protro PEs worn by Clark, the sneaker features a mix of glossy synthetic overlays, textured forefoot detailing, and chrome heel counters — all sitting atop the low-cut performance silhouette that continues to dominate both the NBA and WNBA.
Caitlin Clark has quickly become one of the leading faces of Nike Basketball’s modern Kobe line, regularly showcasing exclusive colorways throughout her rookie campaign and beyond. Tonight’s “Sonic” PE continues that streak, adding another standout entry to her growing catalog of player exclusives.
While her first signature Nike sneaker is expected to release this year, her Nike Kobe PEs continue to light up the court ahead of the pairs unveiling
At this stage, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Sonic” PE remains exclusive to Caitlin Clark, with no public release details currently confirmed.
