Jalen Brunson continues to build out one of the league’s strongest rotation of Kobe PEs, this time unveiling a Star Wars-inspired Nike Kobe 6 Protro dubbed the “Knightfall Vader.” The Knicks guard debuted the pair during recent action, adding another themed entry to his growing lineup of exclusives. Brunson has steadily become one of the NBA’s most consistent Kobe wearers, frequently rotating unreleased colorways throughout the season.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Knightfall Vader” leans into a darker palette, pairing a grey-to-black gradient upper with the model’s signature snakeskin-textured finish. Contrasting hits arrive through the Swoosh, which fades from light blue to red, giving the pair a subtle nod to opposing forces. The heel features glossy black support with red Kobe branding, reinforcing the theme without overloading the design.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Knightfall Vader” sticks to the standard Kobe 6 Protro build, with the design focus placed entirely on its colorway. The familiar low-cut silhouette and snakeskin-textured upper remain unchanged, allowing the grey-to-black gradient and contrasting red and blue accents to carry the theme.

Like most of Brunson’s Kobe PEs, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Knightfall Vader” is not expected to release. The pair instead serves as another example of the player’s ongoing connection to the Kobe line, using on-court moments to introduce new, story-driven designs.

Stay tuned for any updates in case the pair does end up hitting retail. For more on the Swoosh, the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro "Mambacita" recently released.
