Nike’s Nike Kobe 3 rollout will continue into Holiday 2026 with another entry from the “Droppin’ Gems” Collection.
Official images have now surfaced of the upcoming Nike Kobe 3 “Black” Protro, which was first debuted by Sydney Savoury at this year’s Mamba Invitational. The colorway is expected to join Nike’s wider “Droppin’ Gems” Collection as the Kobe 3 continues its return in low-top Protro form.

Unlike some of the brighter pairs from the series, this one keeps almost everything dark. Black covers the mesh base, molded grid-like cage, toe, laces, and midsole, allowing the Kobe 3’s aggressive structure to do most of the talking.
The main contrast comes at the heel, where a metallic silver Swoosh breaks up the otherwise blacked-out build. Matching metallic detailing also appears on the Kobe logo at the tongue, while tonal branding and dark cushioning keep the rest of the shoe understated.
The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Black” is expected to release during Holiday 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Men’s pairs are priced at $190, with an exact release date still to be announced.
