Detailed Look: Nike LeBron 24 "Lunar New Year" (2027)

There are still several months left in 2026, but LeBron James and his Swoosh Family are already looking forward to celebrating Lunar New Year 2027 with a commemorative Nike LeBron 24.

Stealthily previewed alongside other pairs of the latest Nike Basketball shoe for "King James" during summer, the festive colorway indulges in a mostly-soft "Light Khaki/Metallic Silver/Phantom/Sail/White" color scheme. Pops of red appear throughout the shoe (which is the lightest Nike LeBron sneaker ever) as a nod to an extremely important hue in Asian culture—especially China.

The all-new KingKnit material across the upper features cloud-shaped embroidery throughout, further referencing popular imagery to the Lunar New Year celebration, which is scheduled to celebrate the Goat zodiac sign in 2027.

Other ornate details included on the "Lunar New Year" LeBron 24 see tumbled leather trims along the tongue and collar, studs lining the edge of this area, and a number of Chinese characters across the shoe.

Different symbols are visible through the transparent outsole, coming together between left and right shoes to deliver an important message: "To achieve greatness, one must first master small victories" (Left Shoe (Top to Bottom): 欲成偉業 (Yù chéng wěi yè); Right Shoe (Top to Bottom): 必先微功 (Bì xiān wēi gōng)).
