Nike ACG Pegasus Trail Arrives This April
Nike ACG is expanding its trail-running lineup with the introduction of the new ACG Pegasus Trail, a silhouette designed to bridge the gap between road and trail. Built on the foundation of the long-running Pegasus franchise, the model combines the familiarity of Nike’s road-running platform with trail-specific updates aimed at improving versatility across mixed terrain.
Positioned as the most adaptable option in ACG’s trail range, the ACG Pegasus Trail is engineered to transition from pavement to gravel roads and dirt paths with minimal compromise. Underfoot, a full-length bed of ReactX foam provides responsive cushioning and energy return, while a new Nike All Terrain Compound 2.0 outsole delivers improved grip in wet and variable conditions.
The shoe was developed in collaboration with athletes from the All Conditions Racing Department, including 2025 Golden Trail World Series Final champion Lauren Gregory, along with input from everyday runners. Feedback from this testing network informed adjustments to fit, durability, and comfort. A new trail-specific last introduces a wider toe box and added room in the forefoot to support longer efforts over uneven terrain.
Up top, the ACG Pegasus Trail features a breathable, quick-draining engineered mesh upper intended to manage moisture across changing environments. A reinforced rubber toe wrap adds protection against debris, while maintaining a lightweight feel.
The launch colorway, “Jade Horizon,” draws inspiration from Oregon’s natural landscape, referencing the resilience of white oak and manzanita trees. The model joins the broader ACG running lineup, which includes the Ultrafly and Zegama, as well as the newly unveiled Nike Pegasus 42 on the road side.
The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail is scheduled to release in April via Nike.com and select retailers.
