After a slow start to its 2025 return, recent collaborations with European record labels have reignited excitement around the Nike Air 180. Following Apron Records’ textured suede pack, Berlin’s PAN Records now adds its creative vision to the model — and it’s far from subtle.
Joining an all-black pair previewed earlier this year is a bold yellow "Tea Tree Mist" edition dubbed the “NIX.” Like its tonal counterpart, this pair features a rugged reinterpretation of the Air Max 180, highlighted by a wrapped, tape-like shroud around the lower half. A stone-textured TPU heel plate conceals the usual Nike Air logo, while the quarter Swoosh is stripped entirely, replaced by a set of micro-branded hits at the forefoot.
The pair’s name, “NIX,” appears digitally printed on the Air unit, tongue, and insole. Underfoot, a semi-translucent rubber outsole reveals a graphic of the Greek god Pan — a mythical figure known for music, nature, and mischief — adding another narrative layer to the collaboration.
There’s no confirmed release date yet for the “NIX” colorway, but with the black edition scheduled for April 12, expect the yellow pair to follow shortly after on Nike.com and select retailers.
