Nike’s 30th Anniversary Foamposite Points Back to Penny’s Magic Days

Nike appears to have big plans for the Foamposite's 30th anniversary in 2027.

The cult-favorite Nike Basketball model is already expected to return in several notable forms next year, including the “Phoenix Suns” colorway, a Nike SB collaboration, and the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite. Now, another celebratory pair has surfaced: the Nike Air Foamposite One PRM “30th Anniversary.”

Expected to release in Summer 2027, the pair is set to arrive with an all-over star graphic across the molded Foamposite shell, a detail that gives the shoe an obvious link to Penny Hardaway’s Orlando Magic days. Under regular light, the design appears to lean toward a mostly white, grey, and black setup, with the star print worked into the upper in a subtler fashion.

The real change comes under flash or direct light, where the reflective detailing is expected to transform the pair completely. Early mock-ups show the star graphics becoming much brighter once activated, turning the Foamposite’s already-bold shell into the main event.

Black eyestays, laces, lining, and outsole sections help frame the upper, while a small blue Swoosh adds a hit of Magic-friendly color near the forefoot.

According to zSneakerheadz and Sneaker Market Romania, the Nike Air Foamposite One PRM “30th Anniversary” is expected to release in Summer 2027. The attached images are mock-ups and may differ from the final retail version.
