Nike is giving the AAir Force 1 Low a full “as if” moment, with a new yellow plaid colorway that appears to pull straight from Cher Horowitz’s most iconic outfit in Clueless.
The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Clueless” dresses the classic low-top in an all-over yellow, black, and white plaid textile upper, closely echoing the matching blazer-and-skirt set worn by Cher in the 1995 film. Black leather Swooshes, black laces, and a black liner help sharpen the look, while the white midsole and black outsole keep the build grounded in familiar AF1 territory.
While Nike has not officially tied the pair to the film, the reference feels hard to miss. From the plaid-heavy execution to the bold yellow palette, the sneaker plays like a wearable nod to one of the most recognizable fashion moments of the ’90s. It’s preppy, loud, and just dramatic enough — basically, it’s got “totally buggin’” energy without needing to spell it out.

Details remain traditional elsewhere, with Nike Air branding on the tongue and heel, a metallic AF1 lace dubrae, and standard Air Force 1 tooling underfoot. Unlike some recent themed AF1s, this pair leans on material and pattern rather than heavy graphic storytelling, letting the plaid do most of the talking.
A release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Clueless” has not yet been confirmed, but pairs are expected to arrive through Nike and select retailers sometime in July.
