Nike and Zellerfeld are continuing their 3D-printed Air Max experiment with another bold take on the Air Max 1000.2, this time dressing the futuristic silhouette in a new “Black & Pink Spell” colorway.

Set to release on June 25 via Nike SNKRS, the Zellerfeld x Nike Air Max 1000.2 “Black & Pink Spell” will retail for $180. The pair follows the wider rollout of the Air Max 1000.2 earlier this year, expanding Nike’s ongoing exploration of printed footwear through one of its most recognizable cushioning platforms.

The design retains the same laceless, sculpted form that defines the Air Max 1000.2, with a fully black 3D-printed upper that wraps the foot in a single continuous shape. The construction gives the shoe a smooth, almost molded look through the forefoot, while textured sections across the heel and sidewalls add structure and depth. A small Swoosh appears on the upper, keeping branding minimal and letting the form do most of the work.

The main change comes through the heel, where a bright pink Air Max unit cuts through the otherwise blacked-out build. The visible cushioning window is marked with “Air Max 1000.2” branding, giving the pair its strongest visual hit and tying directly into the “Black & Pink Spell” name. The color choice adds a sharp contrast to the stealthy upper without taking away from the shoe’s futuristic feel.

Underfoot, the outsole continues the updated geometry introduced on the Air Max 1000.2. Zellerfeld and Nike previously refined the lug shape and sole layout to improve print efficiency while keeping the soft, responsive ride that defines the project. The result is still experimental, but it feels more polished than the original Air Max 1000.

The collaboration remains one of Nike’s most forward-looking Air Max projects. By combining a legacy cushioning concept with Zellerfeld’s 3D-printing process, the Air Max 1000.2 sits somewhere between concept footwear and a wearable product. This new black-and-pink colorway only pushes that identity further.

The Zellerfeld x Nike Air Max 1000.2 “Black & Pink Spell” releases June 25 on Nike SNKRS for $180.
