Nike is bringing back the “Greedy” concept to the Air Max 95 lineup for Air Max Day 2026, offering an early look at the model’s legacy ahead of the original pair’s return later this year.

First introduced as a “What The?”-style execution in 2015, the “Greedy” theme pulls together elements from several of the Air Max 95’s most recognizable colorways. This latest version continues that approach, combining references to pairs such as “Neon,” “Hyper Turquoise,” “Comet,” “Grape,” and “Bright Mandarin” within a single design.

As with previous “Greedy” releases, the shoe features a mismatched aesthetic, with each pair incorporating varied color hits and panel treatments. This time, Nike leans into more textured materials, swapping traditional mesh builds for shaggy suede textiles across the upper. The change adds more depth to the layered construction while reinforcing the patchwork feel of the concept.

The Air Max 95’s signature gradient side panels remain intact, but each layer draws from a different source, creating a mixed palette that reflects the model’s broader history. Branding and sole units stay consistent with the classic Air Max 95 setup, grounding the design despite its varied upper.

The return of the “Greedy” concept arrives at a time when Nike continues to revisit key Air Max 95 moments, with the OG “Neon” also expected back in 2026. Together, they highlight both the original design and its reinterpretations over time.

The Nike Air Max 95 "Greedy" is expected to release on March 26, 2026, in both adult and kids sizing via Nike and select retailers.
