Detailed Look: Nike Air Max2 CB 94 "Black/Varsity Royal" (August 2026)

Nike Basketball's Air Max2 CB 94 design for Charles Barkley is expected to return in a "Black/Varsity Royal/White" color scheme come Fall 2026.

Last seen in 2004, the pair joins an expansive roster of retro models for the calendar year. The dark-colored pair for "Sir Charles" hasn't been seen since 2004, making its expected reissue during its 22nd anniversary a momentous occasion for those waiting on a retro for years. As with the model's most recent bring-back styles, the "Black/Varsity Royal" pair is expected to return as faithfully as possible as the original. Modifications to the shade of blue or Air Max unit could be seen, however.

A firm Nike.com and retailer launch has been set for Friday, Aug. 14, for $160.
