China has quietly become one of the most competitive basketball footwear markets in the world. While newer brands have made aggressive moves in recent years, Nike Basketball's presence in the country stretches back decades. One of the brand’s most enduring initiatives is its partnership with the Chinese High School Basketball League (CHBL), a nationwide program that has grown into one of the largest youth competitions in the region. Much like Nike’s EYBL circuit in the United States, the league has also become known for delivering exclusive player editions to its participating teams.

For the upcoming 2025–2026 CHBL season, several standout Nike Basketball silhouettes have surfaced in special PE form. Among them are the Nike G.T. Future , the Sabrina 3, and the Nike GT Cut 4, each dressed in a striking cosmic-inspired theme that ties the pack together visually.

The Nike GT Future arguably suits the concept best. Its molded construction and futuristic design language already draw comparisons to Nike’s early-2000s Foamposite era, making the galaxy treatment feel like a natural extension of the model’s identity. Swirling celestial patterns wrap the upper, giving the silhouette a space-inspired finish that pairs well with its aggressive shape.

Elsewhere in the lineup, the Sabrina 3 approaches the theme through color rather than heavy graphics. Shades of pink and purple sweep across the upper while a solid black midsole anchors the design beneath. The Nike GT Cut 4 rounds out the trio with a more dramatic approach, mixing fiery orange galaxy patterns with a vivid red interior that adds another layer of contrast.

As with most CHBL-exclusive footwear, these player editions are currently expected to remain limited to league participants. That said, Nike has occasionally brought select CHBL designs to retail, so there’s always the possibility that some of these cosmic-themed pairs could eventually reach the public. For now, they remain a glimpse into the brand’s continued investment in grassroots basketball across China.
