Devin Booker’s signature line has always carried a strong sense of taste, and the Nike Book 2 is continuing that approach with another clear nod to basketball footwear history. This time, Booker’s next release appears to look toward one of the most memorable Jordan collaborations of the 2010s: Don C’s quilted Air Jordan 2.
Dubbed the Nike Book 2 “Just Book,” the pair arrives in a full royal blue finish that immediately calls back to the “Just Don” Air Jordan 2. The connection is hard to miss, with the sneaker covered in tonal blue leather, quilted paneling across the upper, and a premium build that leans into the luxury feel that made Don C’s Jordan 2 so distinct.
Where the original “Just Don” Air Jordan 2 helped reshape how many people viewed Michael Jordan’s second signature model, the “Just Book” brings that same energy into Booker’s own line. The Book 2 keeps its low-cut, lifestyle-friendly shape, but the quilted leather treatment gives it a more elevated look than a standard performance colorway.
The design also carries over several details that deepen the reference. A fuzzy suede blue Swoosh sits along the side, while the tongue branding takes on a layered finish with Book’s logo worked into the top. Red insoles add contrast inside the shoe, featuring a “Book Chapter Two” graphic that plays into the storytelling around Booker’s second signature model, while an inner tongue reading "2015" serves as another direct nod to the original Don C collaboration.

It is another example of Booker using his line as a canvas for archival references rather than simply chasing loud colorways. From Air Max-inspired pairs to Jordan-coded Player Exclusives, the Suns guard has made his sneaker catalog feel personal, and the “Just Book” continues that thread with one of his clearest homage-style releases yet.
The Nike Book 2 “Just Book” is currently set to release at select retailers like Foot Locker on June 26 for $155.
