The Nike Ja 2 "Ja-Breaker" Features A Candy-Inspired Look

Ja Morant and his Memphis Grizzlies squad are vying for a spot in the 2024-25 NBA Season Playoffs. Ahead of their matchup against a Kyrie Irving-less Dallas Mavericks, Nike Basketball has unveiled the next edition of the guard's popular Ja 2: the "Ja-Breaker."

Playfully referencing the iconic jawbreaker candy (gobstopper outside of North America), the pair features a relatively understated color scheme across its upper and sole unit. Close inspection, however, reveals a multi-colored pattern throughout both components. An official product description provided by Elden Monitors to House of Heat° confirms the sweet inspiration: just as the storied candy breaks jaws, Morant's play drops jaws night after night.
