Who knows where Ja Morant might end up by the end of the 2025-26 NBA season, but what's certain is that he and the Nike Basketball team have been in the lab cooking up new styles of the popular Ja 3 signature silhouette.
On Christmas Eve, the Memphis Grizzlies star teased a special gift from the Kool-Aid Man, the iconic anthropomorphic pitcher associated with a kid-favorite drink. The teaser shot was soon followed by a first-look image of a Kool-Aid-inspired and branded pair of the Nike Ja 3. The pair serves as a sequel to last summer's Ja 2 x Kool-Aid projects, which saw the performance model in some of the field's wilder makeovers.
The special Ja 3 features an asymmetric color-execution between left and right shoes. A "Lemon Venom/Light Photo Blue/Deep Royal Blue/Light Green Spark/Pink Beam/Hyper Pink" color scheme is divvied up between each shoe. Eye-catching hues appear throughout the entirety of the sneaker's build, with the Kool-Aid Man reprising his role on the top-of-the-tongue.
The Kool-Aid x Ja 3 is expected to land by July via NIke.com.
