The Nike Ja 3 has quickly become one of Nike Basketball’s most successful recent models, with its unapologetic design delivering across the board. From its aggressive tooling to its bold visual identity, the silhouette has struck a balance between on-court performance, standout style, and accessible pricing.
Now, the model surfaces in a new “Mismatch” colorway, revealed here in kids sizing.
This Nike Ja 3 “Mismatch” leans fully into contrast, splitting the pair between opposing palettes. One shoe arrives dominated by deep blue and purple tones with bright orange accents, while the other flips the script with a vibrant orange base and blue detailing. The asymmetry extends across the entire build, from the mesh uppers and molded overlays to the laces and liners, creating a deliberately unbalanced look.
Signature elements of the Ja 3 remain intact, including the aggressive midsole design and textured outsole built for traction and responsiveness. The layered upper construction features breathable mesh with reinforced zones, while Ja Morant’s personal logo appears on the tongue and insole to complete the design.

The “Mismatch” execution continues a growing trend within Nike Basketball of expressive, player-driven colorways, allowing the model’s bold design language to carry even more personality through contrasting tones and materials.
At this stage, the Nike Ja 3 “Mismatch” has only been revealed in kids' sizing, and it’s currently unclear if the colorway will release in adult sizes. Until more details emerge, enjoy an official look at the pair above.
