Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 4 High “Zombie” is officially set to release this Halloween season. Morant first unveiled the high-top earlier this year, and official images now give us the clearest look yet at the $180 colorway ahead of its October 31 launch.
The pair trades the standard Ja 4 shape for a higher, shrouded build covered almost entirely in bright red. Small spike-like details run across the upper, while a front zipper closes the sculpted collar around the ankle. Dark metallic Swooshes and matching structural pieces break up the otherwise tonal finish, with zombie artwork appearing on the insoles.

The Halloween theme is inspired by one of Morant’s favorite movie characters and the feeling of being chased or hunted. That idea carries into the “Zombie” nickname and the aggressive texture covering the shoe.
Performance-wise, the Ja 4 High uses Cushlon 3.0 foam with a lightweight sockliner for cushioning, while a durable CPU upper and Nike’s JA-frame provide support through the midfoot. An extra-durable rubber outsole is designed with outdoor courts in mind, while the zippered shroud adds another layer of containment around the ankle.
