Nike Basketball is leaning into Kevin Durant’s longtime “Slim Reaper” nickname for the upcoming Nike KD 19 “Halloween,” set to release on October 23 as part of the brand’s wider 2026 Halloween basketball collection.
The pair arrives in a bright red-orange finish, contrasted by black across the tongue, laces and branding. A skeletal arm graphic wraps around the lateral side, playing directly into the grim-reaper theme, while a pale glow-like outsole adds another seasonal touch underfoot.

The details continue inside the shoe, where custom insoles feature a hooded, sinister take on Durant that fits the “Slim Reaper” concept. Distressed graphics around the tongue and additional skeletal artwork give the KD 19 one of the more direct Halloween themes from this year’s Nike Basketball lineup.
The Nike KD 19 “Halloween” is set to release October 23, 2026, alongside the rest of Nike Basketball’s Halloween collection. Retail is expected to be $170.
