Nike is bringing back a bold favorite from Kobe Bryant’s signature line, with the Kobe 9 Elite “Perspective” set to return in Protro Low form for Holiday 2025.
Originally released in 2014 as a high-top, the “Perspective” stood out for its striking Neo Turquoise upper and vibrant Volt accents. Now, more than a decade later, the colorway is set to return with modernized performance upgrades under the Protro banner—this time as a low-top.
The Kobe 9 Elite was a milestone for Nike Basketball, introducing Flyknit construction and a high-cut silhouette that changed the game. While the 2025 version will shift to a lower profile, it’s expected to retain the signature features of the original, including the rich turquoise base, black trim, and energetic Volt detailing.

Early mock-ups alongside a first look give an idea of what to expect, so sneakerheads can anticipate official images surfacing as the release date approaches. A second look has surfaced courtesy of gc911.
The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Perspective” is set to drop on December 3 at select retailers and via Nike.com. Stay tuned to our dedicated Nike Release Dates Calendar for further updates.
